Go West Marie tops the field as the morning line favorite at odds of 2-1 for trainer Eddie Truman. A four-year-old daughter of Western Fame, she has won six of her nineteen starts and has been on the board in all seven tries over the Santa Anita turf. She was last seen finishing second as the favorite in the Las Cienegas Stakes (G3) and won both prior starts this year. Regular rider Gary Stevens will be in the irons and they will break from post position three.

Wild in the Saddle switching back to the turf

Second choice at 3-1 in the morning line is Wild in the Saddle for trainer Richard Baltas. A six-year-old daughter of Silic (FR), she is an eight-time career winner and comes into this race out of a stakes victory on the main track at Santa Anita last time out. Though she has never won on the turf, she had a recent bullet workout on the grass and will have Rafael Bejarano aboard from post position two.

Qiaona trying to rebound after last race

Also in the field at morning line odds of 5-1 is Qiaona for trainer Ed Moger, Jr. A five-year-old daughter of Wilko, she is a five-time winner and has won against state-bred stakes competition. She is trying to rebound after finishing eighth against open optional claiming competition last time out after two competitive efforts this year. Mike Smith has the mount and will be aboard from post position six.
