Rosalind is the 5/2 morning line favorite for trainer Chad Brown after winning the Grade 2 Sheepshead Bay Stakes May 2 at Belmont Park. In her last start, Rosalind ran fourth in the Grade 1 Ogden Phipps, June 6 at Belmont. A winner of the 2014 Grade 1 Ashland Stakes, Rosalind is a multiple graded stakes champion with 3 victories in 16 career starts for earnings of $822,164. Rosalind will break from post 9 under jockey Joel Rosario in her first try over the local track.

Coupled entry looks live

The coupled entry of Kitten’s Point and Chat (4/1) is the second choice on the morning line. Kitten’s Point, trained by Graham Motion, has won 5 of 15 career starts, including a win in the Grade 3 Bewitch Stakes April 24 at Keeneland. Jonathan Shepherd will saddle Chat, who is seeking her first stakes win after a second place effort last out in the Justakiss Stakes June 10 at Delaware Park.

Long-shot can't be overlooked

Shepherd will also send out an uncoupled entry-mate and capable longshot in 12/1 shot Cat’s Claw. Despite losing her last four starts, Cat’s Claw has plenty to offer handicappers who like back-class. The well-bred daughter of Dynaformer out of a Storm Cat mare won three consecutive races last summer including the Waya Stakes at Saratoga.
