Eight Promising Juvenile Fillies Set for $150,000 Schuylerville Stakes

Todd Pletcher will saddle Positively Royal as the morning line favorite at odds of 2-1. Purchased for $325,000 as a yearling, the bay daughter of Bernardini will be stepping up to stakes competition for the first time after breaking her maiden in her career debut. Last time out, she delivered by 3 ½ lengths as the heavy favorite and has had a bullet workout since that race. Javier Castellano will be aboard and they will break from post position seven.

Undefeated Moment is Right going for third straight

Second choice at 5-2 on the morning line is Moment is Right for trainer Wesley Ward. Purchased for $190,000 as a yearling, the dark bay daughter of Medaglia d’Oro is undefeated from two starts and will be trying to earn her second consecutive stakes win. Last time out, she delivered in front-running fashion in the Astoria Stakes and has clocked a recent bullet workout at Keeneland. Joel Rosario will remain aboard from post six.

Decked Out trying for first stakes victory

Also in the field at morning line odds of 4-1 is Decked Out for trainer Keith Desormeaux. A chestnut daughter of Street Boss, she broke her maiden at first asking at Santa Anita and made her stakes debut in the Astoria Stakes where she finished second behind Moment is Right. She will be trying to earn the first black type victory of her career and will have regular rider Kent Desormeaux in the irons from the inside post.
