Sr. Quisqueyano tops the field as the morning line favorite at odds of 7-5 for trainer Peter Walder. An eight-time winner, the five-year-old son of Exclusive Quality is trying to earn the first graded stakes victory of his career and was last seen finishing second in the Skip Away Stakes (G3) at Gulfstream Park. He also won the Florida Sunshine Millions Classic in January. Edgard Zayas will be aboard and they will break from post position nine.
One King's Man trying to rebound after last race
Second choice at 4-1 on the morning line is One King’s Man for trainer Joe Sharp. A five-year-old gelded son of K One King, he has won nine times over the course of his career and won his first stakes race two starts back against restricted Louisiana state-bred competition. He was sixth last time out in the New Orleans Handicap (G2) and will have Miguel Mena in the irons from post position eight as he tries to earn the first graded stakes victory of his career.
Rise Up a former graded stakes winner stepping back up
Also in the field at odds of 9-2 on the morning line is Rise Up for trainer Tom Amoss. A four-year-old son of Rockport Harbor, he has won seven of his sixteen starts and earned the biggest victory of his career in the Delta Jackpot Stakes (G3) as a juvenile. He earned his first victory of the year last time out against optional claiming competition at Fair Grounds. Richard Eramia will be aboard and they will break from post position five.
