On Saturday at Laurel Park, the featured race is the $350,000 Frank J. De Francis Memorial Dash. The six-furlong stakes race has attracted a competitive field of nine colts and geldings.

On Wednesday at Woodbine, the featured race is the $125,000 Frost King Stakes. Restricted to Ontario-bred juveniles, the seven-furlong contest has drawn a field of five colts and geldings.

With a full field of 14 juvenile fillies set to contest the $80,000 Rags to Riches Stakes on November 1 at Churchill, the opening day feature is the best betting race on the card.

The stakes action will continue at Keeneland on Friday with the $1 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. A one mile event, the Grade 1 has attracted a full field of fourteen fillies.

On Sunday at Woodbine, the track will host the $500,000 E.P. Taylor Stakes. A Grade 1 event for fillies and mares, the race has been carded at a mile and a quarter on the turf and has drawn a field of twelve.

On Sunday at Santa Anita, the featured race is the $70,000 Anoakia Stakes. Restricted to two-year-old fillies, the six-furlong contest has attracted a field of nine.

The $500,000 Grade 1 Spinster has drawn a top-notch field for the Breeders’ Cup Distaff win-and-you’re in event October 4 at Keeneland with 11 fillies and mares set to contest the mile and an eighth event on the main track.

On Saturday at Belmont Park, the track will host the $400,000 Frizette Stakes, a key prep for the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1). A Grade 1 event for two-year-olds, the one mile contest has drawn a field of seven.

On Saturday at Laurel Park, the featured race is the $250,000 Commonwealth Cup Stakes. Carded at a mile and an eighth on the turf, the Grade 2 race has drawn a field of seven colts and geldings.

Eight juvenile fillies are lined up to contest the 47th running of the Grade 2 Pocahontas Stakes Saturday, September 12 at Churchill Downs with all but one of the starters attempting two turns for the first time in the 1 1/16-mile event on the main track.
